The deadline for paying is 21 days from the time you receive your bill for the current period’s electric usage. 

If LCEC fails to receive the payment within this time frame the payment will be being considered to be late.

Pay online: 👉  Lee County Electric Cooperative has partnered with PowerPay to offer an online account service for its customers. 

The service provides a range of tools to manage the accounts that allow you to pay with your savings or checking account as well as debit or credit cards. 

Bank transactions are not charged and are credited directly on your credit card (you can also set up the future payment). Card payments made prior to 4 pm are credited to your bank account within six hours. 

There is a cost of $5.50 for credit card transactions. To pay payments to your LCEC pay online, click”Pay online” or click the “Pay on the internet” link below. You can sign in to register, check your bill, and manage your accounts online.

Pay by phone: 👉  Call customer service to pay your bill via telephone (check under for telephone number). 

This service accepts checking/savings transactions and credit/debit card payments. Payments made by bank cards are absolutely free and are credited directly to your accounts. 

Card payments made via the phone after 4 PM are debited on your credit card within a few hours. There is a cost of $5.50 for credit card transactions.

Pay in person: 👉  There are numerous authorized payment walk-in stations throughout the Lee County Electric Cooperative service area. 

They accept payments in the form of checks or money orders, cash travelers’ checks, cashier’s checks. 

Each payment comes with a $1.50 service charge. You must have your credit card and LCEC account number in your wallet. A list of stations available can be found on the LCEC website.

Pay by mail: 👉  The Lee County Electric Cooperative account number for payment can be found at LCED, P.O. Box 311477 Tampa, FL 33631-3477. 

Make your payment using the envelope for billing that comes along with your paper invoice. 

Make sure to include the LCEC account number with your cheque. The account number will be within your account statement. 

To ensure that your LCEC payment is made in time, it is suggested to send your payment no later than 5 days before the due date that appears on your monthly bill statement.

 👉 Opening and Closing Accounts

New customers aren’t required to pay for a service deposit if they are judged to be by LCEC as having a positive credit score. 

If you’re required to pay a deposit the amount you pay will be around double the average of twelve months and the minimum amount of $200 for addresses that do not have a 12-month billing history. 

Commercial and business customers must make the deposit.
